Today I asked the ‘Wisdom of the Hidden Realms’ card deck, by Colette Baron-Reid, a question of personal relevance. I decided to post the reading for the collective, however, as I felt others may desire some perspective regarding this dance as well. I have chosen to paraphrase from the guidebook without interpretation, so you may interpret as you see fit, most appropriate and most helpful. May this bring you clarity…and so it is ❤

While on my walk today… the first day of the Lunar New Year, the year of the dog…I saw a coyote in the distance. I watched as it crossed my path and headed down to the stream. When I got to where it had gone down to the water I crossed the path to catch a closer glimpse. I spotted her near the stream. Our eyes locked and it started trotting. I could not tell if she was trotting towards me or away from me. Always the trickster.
Thank you coyote… for the reminder.
Our lives are a sacred spiral. We revisit things… to go deeper and heal and grow. What we perceive as going backwards is NOT always so.

How to best navigate this first week of this new year…
ANCHOR CARD…Chop Wood
Take your attention of your daily tasks and tend to your daily routines in a meditative, contemplative way. This will clear your energy and open you up to receive your ‘Aha!’ moment(s). Be present and ‘just be’…within your relationships. In terms of prosperity, take small steps rather than big leaps. ANCHOR CARD: Observer in protection
Can’t see the forest for the trees… step back…widen your prospective. Consult trusted sources. Utilize this time rather than feeling stuck. Visualize beyond your small “self.”

Truth Be Told… in protection
The truth will set you free… unhappy in any area of your life, check for signs of denial. Say no to dishonesty in any form… from yourself or others.
Building Blocks… in protection
Check your foundation. Look for cracks. Realign if/where necessary. If your values, morals, vision for the future have shifted… align yourself appropriately so you can stand strong in your convictions. Let go of that which no longer serves. Embrace rigorous honesty and don’t be afraid to replace what’s not solid.
A Change In The Wind
Embrace rigorous honesty, observe/re-align and intentionally reinforce your foundation, and you will stand strong, weathering any shifts/storms. Remember… storms serve to clear the air, scatter seeds and nourish the soil for better things ahead. Stay the course… the unknown is where the magic happens.
